Sayings We Share

Aesop sure was one smart guy! Tell us about the fable you decided to listen to or read. What happened in the fable? Who were the main characters? (write a short summary). Also, be sure to tell us what lesson you learned!

  1. Angela: I read The Turtle and the Hare.In the story Turtle was tired of Hare bragging so they had a race.Anyways at the end Turtle won (just remember slow and steady wins the race).

  2. I read The Astronomer it was about an astronomer who fell in a well and screamed for help I truthly didn't understand the concept of it.

  3. I read A Cristmas Carol. The main carector is Scrooge. Scrooge hated Cristmas but he had a great childhood!!! 3 ghosts haunted him and he liked Cristmas.
    Lesson:be happy with what you have.

  4. the story tortise and the hare is a fable about
    a tortise who races a rabit the rabit takes a nap and when it wakes up tortise had won the race this story teaches the lesson slow wins the race!

I read the story Peter Pan to my sister and I listened carefully and the tink hides her self because she doesnt like who she is.Then she saw peter pan make the children fly.Then she relised that she has a gift to fly,when other people cant.The lesson is that you should be proud of who you are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!BY:Kristian

  7. I read The Hare and the Tortoise. It was about a Hare who was over-confident that he'd win the race. But the Tortoise kept trying and when the Hare woke up from his nap,Tortoise crossed the finish line. The moral was slow wins the race. Harris
